This week in our overland travellers spot, we speak to one of our favourite Britons and oceanic explorers, Chris Stevens.
Chris is a surf bum (and surf coach when he works!), photographer, travel blogger over at BackpackerBanter.com and @bckpackerbanter, who’s from Devon in the UK.
How many times do you fly a year?
As little as possible – although this year more so than usual
Furthest you’ve travelled overland?
From Ecuador down into and around Peru
Favourite means of transport?
Tuk tuks in Thailand – adrenaline fuelled chaos!
Best overland travel experience?
Campervanning the West Coast of Oz from Perth to Darwin – was absolutely stunning and remote
Worst overland travel experience?
Peru – I overstayed in a surf spot and then had to bust out 47 hours of long haul buses in 7days!
