Taking in Las Vegas

taking in Las Vegas

Traveling to Las Vegas is definitely an experience unlike anything else that you can do. “Sin City” truly has a little bit of everything, and most people have a good time when they go there. Recently, I went to Las Vegas, and was amazed at all of the sights and sounds. If you’re thinking about going to Vegas in the near

future, I’ve got a few tips for you to keep in mind.

Stay on the Strip

If possible, consider staying right on the strip. I stayed on the strip for my trip to Vegas, and I can’t imagine being anywhere else. There so so much to see and do on the strip, that it’s kind of mind boggling. There are so many Vegas hotel rooms and suites situated right on the strip that are very affordable. I stayed at Treasure Island, but there are a lot of different hotels on the strip that I would love to stay at next time.

Watch the Buffets

Everyone knows about the legendary buffets in Las Vegas. In the past, you could get some pretty unbelievable buffet deals anywhere because all of the casinos wanted you to come there, and they were willing to get you in the door with cheap food. Now, the prices of many of the buffets have gone up quite a bit. You can still find some great buffet deals, but you have to look around. In some of the older casinos and the ones that aren’t on the strip, you can find really cheap buffets that are good.

Things to See

Trying to narrow down the list of things to see in Las Vegas is pretty difficult, because there is so much to check out. I would highly recommend just strolling down the strip and checking out some of the hotels. For example, The Bellagio has a giant lake in front that does a choreographed fountain show every so often. The Venetian is like a replica of Venice where the streets are made out of water. Caesar’s Palace looks amazing on the inside. The Fremont Street Experience is another cool place to check out. It gives you a feel of the old-style Las Vegas and has so much to see.

You can do almost anything in Las Vegas and have a great time. If you’re thinking about traveling there, do yourself a favor and book your trip for as long as possible so that you don’t feel shortchanged.
